Hair Removal & Waxing

There are many options to get rid of unwanted body and facial hair. You could use tweezers but that would require plucking out each hair one by one, which is a time consuming and painful process. You could use over the counter hair removal creams. You would leave the cream on for a specific amount of time and then wipe it off along with the hair. However, creams are not a good option for everyone since they can create a burning sensation or reaction in some people. This would not be a good option for someone with sensitive skin. A very popular method for removing unwanted facial hair is waxing. Warm wax is placed over a section of hair that you want removed. Then a cloth is placed over the area, pressure is applied and then the cloth is quickly removed along with the hair that sticks to it. This process is repeated until all of the unwanted hair is removed. Since hair does grow back after waxing, it will need to be done on a regular basis. The frequency will depend on the individual since some people’s hair grows back faster than others. Img

Eyebrow Wax

Eyebrow waxing will remove unwanted hairs under your brows and also can be used to shape them as well. You could do this yourself but for most people getting it done by a professional cosmetologist is a much better option. Eyebrow waxing takes skill and experience. If you are not experienced in doing this, you may end up taking too much hair off in certain areas creating a shape you don’t like. When you get them done professionally, you need to tell the cosmetologist what shape you would like, how thin or thick you want your eyebrows. The cosmetologist will then shape your brows and remove the unwanted hair in order to create the look you desire. If you’re eyebrows are shaped well, it will draw attention to your eyes, giving you a very attractive look.

Chin Waxing

If you have unwanted hair on your chin, you may decide to wax that area as well. Since chin hair will be completely removed, the art of creating a nice shape is not involved. Therefore, it is a much simpler process.

Lip Waxing

Lip waxing, like chin waxing, doesn’t involve shaping. In that way, it’s easier than eyebrow waxing. However, the area above your lips is a very sensitive area. It can be painful if you’re not skilled or have no experience with it. There is also a chance of ripping some of the skin off if it’s not done correctly. Therefore, in most cases it’s much better to get lip waxing done by a professional.
